    07 December 2020
Lebanese Red Cross Response to Disasters and Crises: Insights and Groundwork

Lebanon is currently facing numerous crises: the aftermath of the explosion of August 4, the COVID-19 pandemic, and an economic recession. Despite being heavily impacted by the situation, the Lebanese Red Cross (LRC) is and has always been the first party to aid during hardships and contribute to disaster relief.

Always aiming to raise awareness and provide students with up-to-date training sessions, Antonine University, and in collaboration with the Lebanese Red Cross, is inviting all its students and staff to attend the “LRC Response to Disasters and Crises: Insights and Groundwork” online conference.

During this conference, Mr. Georges Kettaneh, Secretary-General of the Lebanese Red Cross, will address the main issues and challenges of the humanitarian work in Lebanon and will educate all participants on the importance of volunteering to help them understand how to respond and act in case of emergencies.

Register now to join this online conference that will take place on Monday, December 7, 2020, at 2:30 PM via Microsoft Teams.
