Call for Applications | “Eugen Ionescu” Scholarship Program 2025–26

Funded by the Government of Romania and coordinated by the “Agence universitaire de la Francophonie” (AUF), the “Eugen Ionescu” Scholarship Program is now open for applications for the 2025–26 academic year.

 

This program offers francophone PhD candidates and teacher-researchers affiliated with AUF member institutions the opportunity to undertake a three-month research stay at a partner university in Romania.

 

Application deadline: November 30, 2025, at 11:59 PM (Bucharest time, GMT+2)

Call for Applications | Quebec-Lebanon Scientific Missions 2026–27

The Fonds de recherche du Québec (FRQ), the National Council for Scientific Research of Lebanon (CNRS-L), and the Agence universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) are continuing their collaboration with the relaunch of the Quebec-Lebanon Scientific Missions program for the 2026–27 academic year.

 

This call offers Lebanese researchers affiliated with an AUF member institution the opportunity to carry out a two- to four-month research stay at a university or research institution in Quebec.

 

The program supports projects in the following fields:

  • Health sciences
  • Natural sciences, mathematics, and engineering
  • Humanities and social sciences
  • Arts and literature

 

Funding offered:

  • Monthly allowance of CAD 3,000
  • Round-trip airfare covered (up to CAD 2,500)
