Antonine University (UA) invites its community and guests to the 15th edition of Ism Alam, a series launched in 2008 to celebrate leading figures in Lebanon’s intellectual and cultural life through critical reflection on their work and legacy.
This year, the series honors Fawwaz Traboulsi, marking the publication of the 15th Ism Alam volume, “Fawwaz Traboulsi: Writing Passion and Dissent,” edited by Dr. Pascale Lahoud and published by UA Press.
What to Expect
The ceremony will bring together members of the UA community and guests to celebrate Fawwaz Traboulsi’s intellectual and cultural contributions while carrying forward the spirit that has defined Ism Alam since its inception: keeping Lebanese thought alive through dialogue, reflection, and critical engagement.
The event will be followed by a reception and the distribution of the newly published volume.
