The Faculty of Engineering at Antonine University and the TICKET Lab. are organizing in collaboration with BMW Group and Splunk a 24-hour hackathon, on the 17th and 18th of December 2018. The main objective of the hackathon is to bring together students from the Lebanese universities to develop data analysis uses cases on Splunk using machine data provided by BMW Group.
Participating teams will be competing in a two-round team stroke challenge. The shortlisted teams will have to pitch their idea to a panel of experts during the Smart Beirut Summit held on the 18th of December. Valuable prizes will be given out to the winners up to third place in addition to several internship opportunities at both BMW Group and Splunk.
Representatives from BMW Group and Splunk will provide you with more details about the event during their visit to Antonine University on the 17th of October from 4:00 PM till 5:30 PM, Bldg. G, Room G.2.7. Also, Mr. Boulos El Asmar and Mr. Norman Muller will talk about R&D in Artificial Intelligence and Innovative Technologies at BMW Group.
