It is time to welcome home the new students and welcome back the current ones!

In order to help newcomers discover the University’s readily available resources on campus and give current UA students the opportunity to socialize and spend quality time with their peers, faculty, and administrative staff, Antonine University (UA) invites them both to participate in the Welcome Day and kick off the Spring 2023 Semester.

Program Objectives

• Bring students together, whichever program they are enrolled in, and contribute to building a vibrant and cohesive student body.
• (Re)introduce undergraduates and graduates to the University’s rules and regulations and provide them with an overview of the academic programs, diverse services, available financial aid opportunities and scholarships, multiple internship offers, events, and clubs.
• Encourage first-year students to express themselves freely, ease their transition into society, and lower their stress levels.
• Strengthen the sense of belonging among current students.
• Show UA students how the University will support their academic, socio-emotional, and overall well-being over the coming years as they develop into well-rounded citizens.

  Get to Know Your Faculty: meet the deans, heads of departments, and faculty members (mandatory for first-year students and open to all students)
• 12:00–2:30 PM
  Meet the Services: Office of Student Affairs, Office of Social Affairs, Counseling Service, Center for Career Development, Language Center, Office of Information Technology, Office of the Registrar, Office of International Relations, Student Academic Success Service, Office of Athletics, Library, UA Choir, and Office of Communications (highly recommended for first-year students)
• 1:00–2:00 PM
  “Tools to Successfully Start Your Academic Semester” Awareness Session – Register Now
  Speaker: Dr. Marie Khoury, Psychotherapist
  Location: Hadat–Baabda Campus, Building G, Room G.4.12
