Antonine University (UA) constantly renews its commitment to foster students’ holistic development and help its community members immerse themselves in a more equitable and peaceful world that promotes sports and the Olympic values. It has always succeeded in reaching this goal, especially that the Faculty of Sports Sciences (FSS) strives to achieve the vision of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) founder, Mr. Pierre de Courbetin, and remains faithful to one of his key ideas: Olympism serves as an educational tool to bring people together and let them live in harmony with each other.

In this context, UA is delighted to invite you to attend the Olympic Week 2022, a five-day event titled “The Olympism of Coubertin and the Celebration of the Olympic Day” and organized in collaboration with the Lebanese Olympic Committee, from Monday, June 20, 2022 to Friday June 24, 2022, on all three of its campuses. The celebration of the Olympic Day, a priceless opportunity to enjoy competitive games and share scientific knowledge through Olympism and governance seminars, will take place on June 23, 2022, from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM on UA’s main campus in Hadat–Baabda, in the presence of the Lebanese Olympic Movement presided by the Lebanese Olympic Committee.
