    More about this session
As our country goes from one crisis to another, we are all having a hard time coping with the surrounding changes. These incredibly tough times made us experience shared anxiety and low mood. It’s true that it may be best to take things one day at a time to make it through, but in order to do that, we need to be more "emotionally fit" to handle this heavy load.
This webinar is designed to bring out the unrevealed superpowers in participants so they can employ them to boost their psychological health. These superpowers are sure within your reach, but you still have to reach out and use them!

    Objectives

    • Experience some online fun instead of listening to just a lecture about superpowers you have and can use right now.
    • Provide you with some easy-to-use tools to shift your internal negative states to be more empowered: from being weary to energetic, from feeling stressed to relaxed, from being grumpy to happy, and from feeling awkward to more confident.
    • Practice these tools and experience the positive psychological shifts once you decide to be more in charge.
    • Have a short Laughter Yoga online session.

PS: It is very important to have your video on throughout this session, or your superpowers will not be turned on!

Make sure to Register at least one day before the webinar, and for further information contact counseling@ua.edu.lb or call +961 5 927 000 ext. 1231.

Remember! Not having mental health problems doesn't mean that you have a strong mental health!
Make your mental health a priority.

How to Be Mentally Stronger, Happier, and Resilient is a series of webinars on mental health held by the Counseling Service at Antonine University (UA), where professional speakers, psychologists, life coaches, and doctors, will be discussing and spreading awareness on several issues. This program was launched during the academic year 2020-2021 and was open to UA students, and in view of its success, the second edition will be open to public. A new theme will be tackled each month during which interesting weekly topics will be addressed. The participant who attends all the weekly topics of a monthly theme will get an electronic certificate of participation.
