Antonine University (UA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IDP IELTS Australia on July 2022, enabling UA to become an official IELTS test venue partner. This agreement allows the UA student body and extra-mural students from other universities and schools to sit for the IELTS test on UA’s Hadat–Baabda Main Campus and soon at Nabi Ayla–Zahle.

Following the MoU, the Language Center (LC) at UA, joined by the IELTS team, is organizing an informative session on campus to launch the administration of the IELTS test service. This session aims to highlight the essential role occupied by IELTS as the world’s leading English-language test, accepted by most government agencies, educational institutions, migration authorities, and professional bodies. Additionally, specialists will explain which test to take, underline any special requirements, preparations, or training, and clarify how the IELTS test is marked.

Furthermore, the LC’s certified trainers will give online preparation courses depending on each candidate’s proficiency in English. The course schedule and IELTS test dates will be communicated accordingly.
