The world is rapidly becoming a global village as many nations are now benefiting from a multicultural environment. Understanding different cultures is not only critical, but it also encourages peaceful coexistence.
For this reason, and as part of the MED2IaH project’s Bootcamp that took place in June 2022, Slovenia, the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) at Antonine University (UA) launched the Gather Around a Culture monthly series, aiming to raise awareness among UA students about different cultures around the world in a fun and effective way through studying the languages, understanding geography and economic practices, evaluating cuisines, etc.
While October and November tackled the Slovenian and Greek cultures, for December’s session, UA students will get the chance to learn about Canada!
