Free your mind and heal your soul to deal positively with your everyday living! Through our series of art sessions entitled Be an Artist for One Hour, you will have the opportunity to connect with renowned artists from different artistic domains (music, painting, acting, dancing, sculpting, etc.) and learn about their experiences. During these workshops, the artists will elaborate on what influences and heals them through art and inspire participants to unleash their inner artists.
The upcoming session is entitled "Creative Dot Mandala" and will be given on campus.
Mandala is a Hindu art that means circle. It is a symbol that can be used as an aid of mediation, helping the mediator to envision how to achieve the perfect self. It is a custom design that can be applied to canvas, stones, wood, porcelain, glassware, etc.
Dot Mandala has several benefits such as helping with balance, bringing peace of mind and tranquility, giving a feeling of calmness, providing with concentration, making it easier to be mindful, using it as an anti-stress technique, etc.
The objective of this session is to help participants to push aside their thoughts and let their creativity flow to have their own piece of art at the end of the session (a canvas 15x15).
