The United Nations (UN) has declared April 2nd as World Autism Awareness Day and has invited member states, NGOs, and the private sector to observe this day properly in order to raise public awareness about autism, which is a significant public health challenge. In collaboration with the National Autism Community (NAC) and the Faculty of Music and Musicology (FMM), the Faculty of Sport Sciences (FSS) at Antonine University (UA) is organizing a scientific and recreational activity entitled Autism in Action. This event aims to emphasize the importance of music therapy and physical activity in the care of children with an autism spectrum disorder in order to raise awareness among our students about the need to improve these children’s quality of life.
