On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Faculty of Sport Sciences (FSS) at Antonine University (UA), in collaboration with the Lebanese Olympic Committee (LOC) and the Fe-Male NGO, will host a conference entitled At UA, “Sport” Is Also Associated With Women to shed light on women’s involvement in sports and raise awareness about gender equity in Lebanese federations.

This conference will serve as a launchpad for several upcoming initiatives related to the Faculty’s commitment to promoting women’s participation in sports, ensuring that gender equity is implemented in the Lebanese federation, and creating a guide for female athletes to help them avoid harassment in sporting clubs and institutions.
