Where Magic Begins: Dream, Believe, Become

Welcome Day at Antonine University (UA) is a vibrant, one-day experience designed to inspire, orient, and reconnect students with campus life. It warmly welcomes new students as they begin their academic journey, while inviting returning students to step into the new semester with renewed energy and purpose.

Under this year’s theme, “Where Magic Begins: Dream, Believe, Become,” Welcome Day celebrates the moment when possibilities open, confidence grows, and transformation takes shape. From the very first step on campus, students are invited to imagine their future, trust in their potential, and actively shape who they are becoming.

Throughout the day, activities and encounters are designed to foster a strong sense of belonging, spark ambition, and build confidence within our diverse community. Welcome Day is more than an introduction or a welcome back; it is a rite of passage—a defining moment where dreams are born, belief takes root, and the path to becoming truly begins.

At the heart of the theme lies a simple yet powerful mantra:

• Dream: Imagine possibilities beyond the present, nurture hope, and allow curiosity and creativity to guide your aspirations.
• Believe: Trust in your abilities, in the support of your university community, in the guidance that surrounds you, and in God’s constant presence through it all. Embrace your purpose, build resilience, and grow with confidence and faith.
• Become: Turn dreams and beliefs into action through learning, engagement, and self-discovery. Each step brings you closer to becoming the person you aspire to be, academically, professionally, and personally.

More than a welcome, the Welcome Day reminds us that every meaningful achievement begins with a dream, is fueled by belief, and is fulfilled through becoming.

  Including a live donut station next to the beverage booth.
• Magic Book Distribution
• Student Podcast: “Real Talk”
  Hosted by current students from diverse majors and backgrounds, offering authentic, peer-to-peer insights into campus life, academics, opportunities, and challenges.
• Magic Mirror Tiles: Mini Self-reflection Craft
  A creative activity where students decorate small mirror tiles as a symbolic moment of reflection and growth.
