  • “The Green Media” and Environmental Awareness

    23 April 2024
“The Green Media” and Environmental Awareness

In line with SDG 13: Climate Action, the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) at Antonine University (UA), in partnership with the Human Environmental Association for Development (HEAD), the Arab Network for Environment and Development (RAED), the Green Party of Lebanon, and the National News Agency (NNA), is organizing a session on “The Green Media” and Environmental Awareness.

The concept of Green Media is a global phenomenon that is being increasingly embraced as an educational foundation for understanding the importance of the environment and its conservation in various countries. Green Media plays a crucial role in educating the public and raising awareness about the importance of environmental issues. It also aims to encourage community participation in addressing these issues and safeguarding human life and biodiversity to achieve environmental sustainability. By promoting a greener media system, we seek to foster awareness among individuals by shedding light on environmental policies and strategies implemented by decision-makers.
