    21 November 2024
One Flag, One Heart: Independence Day

This year’s Independence Day is a poignant reminder of the challenges our country faces. It has become clear that true independence is not just about freedom; it is about community, solidarity, and the strength we find in one another. In this spirit, the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) at Antonine University (UA) invites you to join a day of giving back — a day to honor the nation that has shaped our lives and given us so much.

    Program Details

12:00–4:00 PM — Blood Drive With the Lebanese Red Cross
In these critical times, your support is more vital than ever. Every donation can save a life, and your simple act of kindness can bring hope to those in need. Join us in this essential cause, and let’s make a difference together!

2:00–4:00 PM — Food Drive for Displaced Families
We are collecting essential food items to support displaced families throughout our country. In moments of uncertainty, it is crucial that we come together to help those who are struggling to survive. We invite you to contribute by donating the following items: flour, rice, pasta, canned food, sugar, salt, tea, soap, and tissues.

Starting November 18, donations can be dropped off at the OSA. On November 21, we will unite to organize these donations into care packages. We encourage everyone to volunteer and to give generously!

2:00–4:00 PM — Light a Candle for Lebanon

Join us as we light candles to symbolize our shared intentions and unified hearts. These candles will represent the light of hope, peace, and healing during these challenging times, illuminating our commitment to a brighter future.

As a token of our gratitude, limited edition bracelets will be distributed during the event, symbolizing our unity and resolve.

This Independence Day, let us stand together in the face of hardship. Join us. Give back. Be part of the change that our beloved country so desperately needs. Together, we can light the path toward a brighter tomorrow.

We look forward to seeing you there!
