Where the Arab world speaks its future.
A symposium held in Arabic that critically explores emerging narratives across key domains: environment, technology, culture, economy, and politics.
Event Overview
Antonine University (UA), in collaboration with Mujtama for Cultural and Historical Studies, proudly presents “Future Narratives: Exploring Realities, Fears, and Alternatives.”
This pioneering symposium brings together international scholars and thought leaders to examine how the stories we construct about the future shape our present choices, influence our ethical orientations, and chart the trajectories we set for generations to come.
Designed and coordinated by Dr. Pascale Lahoud, “Future Narratives” introduces a novel academic framework in the Arab world, interrogating the dominant and emerging stories that define our collective imagination across five essential frontiers: the planet, technology, culture, economy, and politics.
