    Chamber Music Season VIII: Elia Cecino

    A new chapter opens at Antonine University (UA) as the Chamber Music Season VIII begins with a piano recital that sets the tone for the year ahead. This opening concert welcomes back a series that has become a landmark of musical excellence and artistic dialogue on campus.

     

    Launching the season is Elia Cecino, First Prize winner of the 22nd Iturbi International Piano Competition in Valencia. Known for his depth of interpretation and commanding technique, Cecino inaugurates Chamber Music Season VIII with a program that moves seamlessly between virtuosity, introspection, and dramatic power.

    About Elia Cecino

    Elia Cecino is the first Italian winner of First Prize at the 22nd Iturbi International Piano Competition in Valencia, where he also received special prizes for the best performance of a Beethoven concerto (Concerto Op. 58) and for the best interpretation of Chopin’s music (Sonata Op. 35). He has performed as a soloist with leading orchestras and is regularly invited to give recitals in major venues across Europe and the United States. Alongside his solo activity, he maintains an active chamber music career and has an expanding recording discography dedicated to the core piano repertoire.
