2. |
What steps must I take to publish my results in the RASMI research program?
It is recommended that a publication strategy be adopted, especially considering open access to high-impact journals. |
3. |
What about the intellectual property of our research and publications within the RASMI research program?
All the results obtained and published in the framework of the RASMI program are the property of Antonine University (UA). Final reports should be submitted as editable digital files to the unit where the instructor-researcher is affiliated. |
4. |
What guidelines should I follow to promote research at UA as a member of the teaching and academic staff?
Do not forget to consistently mention your affiliation with UA in your publications. Additionally, it is crucial to include an acknowledgment stating that your research project was funded by UA’s RASMI program. This detail is crucial for receiving a research bonus for your scientific publication.
If you are a contractual instructor at UA, you may list your dual affiliations, including your affiliation with Antonine University, as long as the dual affiliation adheres to good institutional practices. |
5. |
Can I apply for the next call for proposals for the RASMI research program?
To support your research and publication within this program, which requires time and effort, the application conditions for holders of the 8-month project differ from those of the 14-month project.
As a general rule, you will only be eligible to apply for the RASMI program again only after you have completed your research project with your research results and required documentation. Additionally, you must have published your findings in a high-impact journal.
Individuals holding 8-month projects may apply for a future RASMI call, as long as they have completed their initial research project and submitted scientific and financial reports, even if their results have not been published yet. However, if the project holder has not published any results after the first two funding rounds, they will lose the right to apply for the third RASMI funding round.
14-month project holders are not eligible to apply for a subsequent call for proposals until they have published their results in high-impact journals, as they have sufficient time to conduct research and publish within the selected project timeframe. |
6. |
Will the RASMI program enable me to earn any research bonus?
Yes, in case of publication, the research bonus related to your scientific publication will be awarded to the first and second author (provided that the author is affiliated with UA). An additional research bonus amount will be awarded to the corresponding author, regardless of their rank in the publication. |
7. |
Are the publication fees included in the budget allocated for my research?
No, these costs are not included in the budget for carrying out the program’s research. |
8. |
How can I claim and manage my expenses related to the RASMI program?
All communications and transactions concerning the budget sections (headings a, b, c, and d), with the supporting documents, should be directed to UA’s Office of the Bursar. A copy should also be sent to the Vice Rector for Research for informational purposes only. A guide will be sent to you soon to explain the procedure. |
9. |
What are the criteria and procedures I need to follow to submit my RASMI research project?
To submit your project, you can complete the “Application for Funding of a Project under the RASMI Research Program” form. Any application that does not include all the required documents will be deemed incomplete, which may jeopardize your chances of advancing to the next stage of the program.
