Ms. Nada Maalouf, Student Affairs Officer at the Antonine University (UA) Nabi Ayla–Zahle Campus, participated in an Erasmus+ Training Mobility held during the 2026 International Staff Week at Euro-Mediterranean University (EMUNI) in Koper, Slovenia.
The program brought together higher education professionals from around the world for a series of interactive workshops and training sessions addressing key topics at the intersection of technology, governance, and society. Sessions explored digital transformation, cybersecurity risks, deepfakes, human rights, digital law and governance, and the role of artificial intelligence within the European Union’s regulatory framework.
Through discussions and knowledge-sharing activities, participants also explored Euro-Mediterranean perspectives on contemporary social and technological developments, while exchanging institutional experiences and best practices with colleagues from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds.
In addition to the academic program, the mobility included cultural visits and a guided tour of Koper, offering participants the opportunity to discover Slovenia’s rich heritage while fostering intercultural exchange.
The experience created valuable networking opportunities and strengthened connections with international colleagues, laying the groundwork for future collaborative initiatives and institutional partnerships. It also reflects UA’s ongoing commitment to international engagement, professional development, and the exchange of knowledge and best practices across the global higher education community.
