Although Lebanon is immersed in total chaos, soprano Louise de Ricolfis and pianist Margot Germain succeeded in offering a glimpse of hope and enchanting their audience with an admirably diversified program during a concert held by Antonine University (UA) in collaboration with the Institut Français du Liban.
In presence of the French ambassadress to Lebanon, H.E. Anne Grillo, the two young artists performed compositions by Bellini, Britten, Handel, Quilter, Mozart, and Williams, on Thursday, April 7 at 7:00 PM and Saturday, April 9 at 8:00 PM on UA’s campuses respectively at Mejdlaya – Zgharta and Hadat – Baabda.
The public was delighted by the energy and sensitivity emanating from the duo and captivated by the beauty and mastery of the performance.
