    White Trail Snowshoeing

Part of the UA Plus Program

The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) at Antonine University (UA) invites students from the Hadat–Baabda Campus to take part in “White Trail Snowshoeing,” a guided winter outdoor experience in Laqlouq.

Set within one of Lebanon’s most iconic natural reserves, this easy+ snowshoeing trail offers students the opportunity to embrace winter landscapes while staying active in a safe and supervised environment. Surrounded by snow-covered forests and breathtaking mountain scenery, participants will discover the unique charm of laqlouq while engaging in responsible outdoor practices.

Blending movement, nature, and shared exploration, this experience encourages students to reconnect with the outdoors, cultivate environmental awareness, and strengthen community bonds beyond the classroom.

    Event Objectives

    • Promote physical well-being through guided snowshoeing in a protected winter landscape.
    • Encourage environmental awareness and responsible interaction with natural reserves.
    • Foster social connection and a sense of belonging through collective outdoor experiences.
    • Contribute to SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being and SDG 15: Life on Land by promoting active lifestyles and respect for natural ecosystems.
