As part of the 9th SIDIIEF World Congress held in Lausanne under the theme “Nursing Innovation: Driving Transformations in Health,” the academic team from the Department of Nursing Sciences (DNS) at Antonine University (UA) had the honor of representing our institution.
Led by Dr. Mona Nehme, Head of the Department, and joined by full-time faculty members Ms. Joy Hannoun and Ms. Manal Merhi, the team played an active role in this major international event.
Dr. Nehme and Ms. Hannoun delivered three noteworthy presentations addressing key topics such as palliative care, advanced nursing practice, and pedagogical innovation. These contributions showcased the Department’s ongoing advancements and offered an opportunity to exchange valuable insights with healthcare professionals from around the globe.
The congress served as an exceptional platform to deepen the academic team’s expertise and enhance educational practices for the benefit of our students. It also contributed to advancing the Department’s research projects, exchanging insights on emerging practices in the nursing field, and strengthening ties with the international nursing community.
