As part of the international deployment and dissemination of the WE4LEAD project, Antonine University (UA) participated in the first African-European CIVIS Forum for Research and Education, held from March 25 to 27, 2026, at Hassan II University of Casablanca (UH2C).
Represented by Dr. Huguette Abou-Mrad, UA joined consortium partners in promoting more inclusive models of university governance. The forum brought together experts and decision-makers from both continents around a shared objective: transforming global challenges into equitable and sustainable solutions.
The panel titled “WE4LEAD: A Cross-Continental Endeavor Towards Gender Equality” took the form of a joint contribution led by partner universities: Aix-Marseille University, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Antonine University, Sapienza University of Rome, University of Sousse, and University of Tunis El Manar.
During the session, speakers presented the project’s key achievements, along with innovative methodological tools developed to support the long-term integration of gender equality within higher education institutions.
