UA Center for Career Development (CCD) staff participated in a five-day study tour organized by USAID-Lebanon Higher Education Capacity Development (HECD), in collaboration with Florida State University (FSU) and the Learning Systems Institute (LSI).

Our CCD team members flew from Lebanon to Tallahassee, Florida, where they were exposed to the major services and career-related activities offered by the FSU Career Center. They attended sessions on: career advising, individual and group career counseling, assessment, experiential education, and other career-related issues, as well as career-planning workshops and career fairs.

In addition, they were given the chance to explore the FSU through the constructive meeting that was held with the President Office (in the presence of FSU President), and the visits to the Innovation and Technology Hub and the Alumni Association.

This one-of-a-kind opportunity allowed the CCD team to learn from a large panel of experts who brought their years of experience to the table. Furthermore, UA staff members were encouraged to share their ideas and familiarize themselves with many innovative topics handled by the Tech Center.
