Ms. Rita Jabbour, part-time instructor and researcher at the Laboratoire des 3S : Sport, Santé, Société (L3S) within the Faculty of Sport Sciences at Antonine University (UA), recently participated in an Erasmus+ training mobility at Université Marie et Louis Pasteur (UMLP) in Besançon, France.

Ms. Jabbour is currently pursuing a PhD in co-supervision between UMLP and UA. Her doctoral research focuses on co-education in Physical Education (PE) within Lebanese schools. The study aims to develop a more equitable teaching approach supported by adapted pedagogical practices to help overcome gender stereotypes that emerge during PE sessions.

During her mobility, Ms. Jabbour met with her PhD co-supervisor, Prof. Tidiane Wane, UFR STAPS Director, as well as members of UMLP’s academic and research teams. She also interacted with undergraduate students enrolled in the third- and fourth-year Physical Education programs.

Her mobility program included attending lectures on sports nutrition and handball, as well as engaging in professional exchanges with specialists in team sports. In addition, she visited the University Library (BU) and explored the historic city center of Besançon, enriching both the academic and intercultural dimensions of her experience.

This Erasmus+ mobility reflects UA’s continued commitment to fostering international academic collaboration, advancing contextualized research, and supporting scholarly initiatives that address real educational and societal challenges. Through partnerships and research exchanges, the University continues to broaden learning perspectives while contributing to more equitable and impactful educational practices.
