The Department of Dental Laboratory Technology (DDLT) at Antonine University (UA) participated in the annual meeting of the Global Scientific Dental Alliance (GSDA) as an official member, held during the International Dental Conference & Arab Dental Exhibition (AEEDC 2026). Recognized as one of the world’s leading dental conferences and exhibitions, AEEDC 2026 took place from January 19 to 21, 2026, at the Dubai World Trade Centre, United Arab Emirates.

The Department was represented by its Head, Ms. Maya Nohra, and the Event Coordinator, Mr. Rodny Abdallah, who joined an international community of dental professionals, academics, and industry leaders. The meeting provided a valuable platform for exchanging expertise, exploring the latest advancements in dentistry and dental technology, and strengthening global collaboration in the fields of oral health, education, and research.

Through its membership in the GSDA, the Department is firmly positioned within a global network dedicated to advancing dental education, fostering scientific exchange, and aligning academic programs with international professional standards. The visit also provided an opportunity to meet and reconnect with DDLT alumni. These exchanges underscored the Department’s ongoing engagement with its graduates and the international professional paths they pursue.

By actively participating in prominent international platforms such as AEEDC and GSDA meetings, UA continues to reinforce its commitment to global academic engagement, international visibility, and the continuous development of its educational programs in line with international benchmarks.
