On February 10, 2021, Antonine University (UA) welcomed its new students who are joining the Spring 2021 semester through virtual integration sessions held via MS Teams.

These sessions aimed to introduce the new students to their faculty members as well as to other university essentials which will help them start their academic adventure at UA. Prior to the meeting day, a dedicated webpage had been placed on the university’s official website; it included a welcoming note from the Rector, tutorials, and manuals for UA official platforms, as well as the list of the offices and services vital to the academic journey of the students. Other good-to-know information was included in this page through a FAQ and answers section.

Once gathered in meeting rooms as per the program they have been admitted to, students have been welcomed by their dean, the faculty representatives, and the advisers in a casual, friendly, and educational atmosphere and introduced to the program and their next steps at UA. During this one-hour session, students had the chance to ask their questions, get to know their university, faculty, and fellow students more, and start to build-up good memories with their peers.
