For anyone who wants to succeed academically and benefit from extracurricular activities in a professional setting, developing library and information skills, knowledge, and behavior is essential.
Recruiters today are seeking candidates who are familiar with and can adapt to the characteristics of the information age. In reality, a graduate who has learned to learn will be a much more desirable candidate. A highly analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving individual with strong information literacy can be viewed as a flexible, capable, and valuable employee with a lot to offer!
For these reasons, the Library is offering the UA community 3 training sessions in order to provide them with the steps needed to produce high-quality academic work and fully benefit from a research-based education. These sessions are designed to teach participants the methods and tools necessary to conduct successful scientific research, including the importance of correctly citing sources and avoiding plagiarism.
