More about this session
Adopting a positive attitude is generally known to be a primary factor that mitigates stress. How can we possibly remain positive, though, when things all around us seem overwhelmingly negative? In fact, it requires a specific mindset to empower such behaviors. Being positive does not only require intention, but rather a strong combination of will and action that one has to implement on a daily basis. After all, it is our choice to empower ourselves during rough times or be sucked up by all the negativity surrounding us.
This webinar is designed to give participants answers to all their questions about positivity through hard times, along with enhancing their capability to find in every obstacle a way to outshine the situation.
Objectives
- Acknowledge the negative psychological impact of the current crises on each of us and what we are going through.
- Highlight the significance of embracing a positive attitude and its effect on the concerned persons and their surroundings amid crises.
- Equip participants with the recipe to handle stressful situations.
- Gain the ability of being positive during crises through a two-step process of actions and thoughts with focus on both inward and outward factors.
Make sure to register one day before the webinar, and for further information, contact counseling@ua.edu.lb or call the +961 5 927 000 ext. 1231.
