  • Grant Writing Workshop

    16 June 2022

Antonine University (UA) hosted the Grant Writing workshop organized by the Higher Education Capacity Development (HECD) Program on June 6, 7 and 8, 2022. The training was delivered by Mr. Rabieh Razzouk, Director of the Learning System Institute (LSI) at Florida State University (bio below).

Thirty-two participants from ten universities attended the GR workshop, which aimed at immersing them in hands-on proposal development experience, and equipping them with the skills needed to submit compelling grant proposals and win the budget battle. Attendees were trained on how to write the scope of work and budget justification, in addition to preparing other supporting documents that are often requested in grant proposals, in order to secure the funding, as well as support, develop and strengthen their respective career centers. The training also covered how to explore funding sources and provided Request for Applications (RFAs) and Proposals (RFPs) examples issued by various funding agencies.

Certificates of attendance were distributed at the end of the workshop.
