The Executive Vice-Rector at Antonine University, Dr. Pascale Lahoud, was recently invited to Germany by the University of Hildesheim and the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities, as part of the Contemporary Women Philosophers in Arab Countries project.
She introduced her philosophical view and discussed her research on boundary-work being a distinguishing feature of contemporary philosophical practice in Lebanon.
During her talk, Dr. Lahoud highlighted the issue of vertical gender segregation in the Lebanese philosophical community, among various other points.
We are very proud of this prestigious recognition.
