European Projects Unit (EuNit)

Home

The European Union's Erasmus+ program aims to support actions in the fields of education, training, youth, and sport for the period extending between 2014 and 2020.

The program aims to allow students, trainees, staff, and volunteers the opportunity to spend time abroad to enhance their skills and increase their employability. It helps organizations to work in international partnerships and to share innovative practices in the fields of education, training, and youth. Erasmus+ also has an important international dimension (i.e. cooperation with Partner Countries, including Lebanon), particularly in the field of higher education. This dimension makes it possible to open up the program to activities of institutional cooperation and mobility of young people and staff on international level.

Lebanon is one of the Partner Countries in the ERASMUS+ program. This allows Lebanese Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to participate in ERASMUS+ calls for projects.

Overview
