The Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET) at Antonine University (UA) offers students an education that prepares them for rewarding careers and leadership positions in national and international companies and industries. Distinguished in their fields of expertise, our faculty members are committed, throughout teaching, advising, and research, to develop professionals who are productive and ready to work in multidisciplinary teams.
Under my leadership, UA’s Faculty of Engineering and Technology will focus on the following goals over the next five years:
- Attract highly motivated students.
- Supply society with well-educated graduates capable of facing the challenges of the 21st century.
- Respond to the region’s great ambitions and high expectations.
- Keep up with the latest international trends and methodologies in engineering and science education.
- Collaborate with the alumni of FET’s Departments of Computer and Communications Engineering (DCCE) and Technology in Computer Science (DTCS).
- Promote existing faculty members and attract new expertise to advance science and technology.
- Improve and update the engineering and science laboratories.
- Establish more collaborations with national and international academic institutions.
- Strengthen partnerships with national and international engineering, science, and business companies.
- Apply for additional grants and funding for research purposes.
- Assist students in upgrading their final year projects into startups, through hubs and incubators at Antonine University.
- Promote the FET as a leader among engineering faculties in Lebanon.
Additionally, we are preparing the DCCE and DTCS programs for official accreditation by the Engineering and Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET Inc., located in Baltimore, MD, USA.
The Faculty of Engineering and Technology is committed to continuously upgrading its programs to meet technological challenges while pursuing excellence.
