The Faculty of Information and Communication at Antonine University is launching Les Jeudis de l’InfoCom, a series of bi-monthly webinars and conferences over the academic year 2020–2021. Our objective is to stay up-to-date with the latest trends in our fields and to widen our students’ horizons while instilling in them the love of life-long learning.
The first webinar targets an important event: The Centennial of Greater Lebanon and is entitled “On the Threshold of the Second Centennial of Greater Lebanon: Achievements, Lessons Learned, and Perspectives – بين مئويَّتي لبنان الكبير: الإنجازات والدروس والتطلُّعات”. As active citizens, we will be looking back with students into the 100 years from 1920 to 2020, and highlighting the importance of achievements and lessons learned from the challenges, which will allow us to move into a new era with constructive ideas and opportunities for involvement. Our aim is, and will always be, the common good of the Lebanese society specifically, and the world at large.
During this webinar, we will have an overview of the reasons that allowed us to stay together as one Lebanese people, who can still celebrate achievements from 1920 to 2020, despite the numerous ongoing challenges.
