Under the High Patronage of the Ministry of Culture and in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute, Antonine University organized its fourth concert of Chamber music season. Entitled the "Little solemn mass" by G. Rossini, the concert was given by the soloists from the UA Choir: Soprano Caterina Di Tonno, Contralto Rosa Bove, Tenor Bechara Moufarrej, Bass-baritone Francesco Vultaggio, Julien Libeer, Fabio Centanni on piano, and Marc Karam on harmonium.
The concert was held on Rossini's 150 years birthday, on January 25, 2018, under the musical direction of Father Toufic Maatouk, at Our Lady of Seeds chapel, at the Hadat-Baabda campus. A crowd of guests and lovers of classical music attended the concert in the presence of the Italian Ambassador to Beirut H.E. Massimo Marotti.
