    Antonine University was honored to host a memorable concert on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, under the name “Songs and Fantasies in Europe in the XVIIth Century”, and during which Jean-Francois Goudesenne, a Harpsichord specialist, charmed the audience with his performance.
    Goudesenne presented different musical pieces such as G. Frescobaldi’s “Toccata n.3a from the Libro Primo”, B. Storace’s “Variations on La Monica”, and G.B Platti’s “Sonata for Cello and Basso Continuo n.2 in D Minor”. He also performed a medley of songs from the “Fitzwilliam Virginal Book”.

    Jana Semaan, Director of the Center for Early Music at the University, performed along with Goudesenne, which was marked as the final outstanding act.
