Digital Media Officer

L'Université Antonine cherche des candidats pour le poste de "Digital Media Officer" sous forme contractuelle pour une durée de 6 mois, renouvelable.

 

Le rôle principal de cette position est de développer, en collaboration avec le bureau de communication, une stratégie de Communication et de Marketing pour la Faculté d'ingénierie ainsi qu'à son Laboratoire de Recherche TICKET.


Tâches et responsabilités :

 

  • Développer et soutenir la mise en œuvre de la stratégie et plan de communication ;
  • Rédiger, éditer et publier le contenu web du TICKET Lab ainsi que les réseaux sociaux (FI et TICKET Lab.) ;
  • Rédiger et réviser les documents écrits relatifs au plan de communication.


Compétences requises :

 

  • Excellentes compétences de communications orales et écrites.
  • Excellentes compétences organisationnelles avec la capacité de gérer des tâches multiples simultanément, en assurant l'adhérence aux exigences de délais.
  • Capacité de travailler indépendamment aussi bien que dans une équipe.

Expérience de 3 à 4 ans dans une position similaire.

Marketing & Communication Director

Mission

Develops and manages the university’s internal and external marketing and communication strategies including advertising, digital communication and media relations. The Marketing and Communication manager oversees the implementation of communication support materials and work closely with the vice-president for Administrative Affairs, at all strategic levels.


Education

A Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business Administration or a related field is required.


Experience

At least five years of experience in Marketing and/or Communications in one or more of the following settings: Education, NGOs, Business.
At least three years of Management experience in Marketing, Public Relations, Media Relations or any related fields.


Skills

  • Leadership skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic communications and marketing plans.
  • Knowledge of the social media and communication platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to details.
IT Support Officer

Position Summary

Responsible for providing assistance to UA internal stakeholders (students, faculty, and staff members) concerning their IT needs. He/She will assist in the day-to-day support operations as well as ongoing projects.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Monitors and maintains the computer systems and networks of an organization.
  • Installs and configures computer systems, diagnoses hardware and software faults, and solves technical and applications problems.
  • Diagnoses and solves hardware or software faults.
  • Maintains computer lab (e.g. instructional materials, appropriate software, material set-up for daily activities, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring availability of equipment and programs to enhance the instructional program.
  • Manages the ID Center: assigns and prints ID cards for students, instructors, and staff.
  • Manages access control systems for exams and classroom doors, etc.
  • Takes photos and videos of all events on campus.

Basic

  • B.S. in Computer Science or any related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience directly related to the specified main duties and responsibilities. Experience in a higher education institution is preferred.

Technical Knowledge

  • Knowledge of most operating system installation (Windows Server 2003, 2008, XP, Seven and eight, MAC OSX, Linux…).
  • Knowledge of most Microsoft software installation (SQL Server, Team foundation Server, visual studio…).
  • Knowledge of virtual environments (VMWARE, Hyper-V).
  • Knowledge of common software installation (Packet tracer, 3D Max, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Matlab…).
  • Knowledge in networking (routers, switches, access points and cabling).
  • Knowledge in web filtering and firewalls.

Student Affairs Officer

Responsible for planning, managing and evaluating campus-wide student affairs services and activities: new students’ integration, non-academic advising, coordination of academic and non-academic events, coordination of clubs and societies and managing campus-related social media channels.

  • Implements and enforces student services policies and regulations, and ensures that services for students carried out by the VP of Integral Human Development are in effect on campus.
  • Manages new students’ integration, and oversees and coordinates a range of special projects that have to do with student integration and internal orientation.
  • Determines student issues through active listening during special office hours and through student surveys and focus groups.
  • Advises students on financial aid procedures and applications; and collaborates with the Office of Social Aid on procedures.
  • Records student concerns, action taken and follows up on such issues.
  • Creates and organizes student-related activities and coordinates all academic and non-academic events on campus.
  • Coordinates and supervises the creation of clubs and societies at the campus and tracks students’ involvement.
  • Manages the campus’s social media channels in direct collaboration with the Communications Office at the main campus.

Basic

  • B.A. in Business, Public Relations or any related field.
  • Minimum of one year of experience directly related to the specified main duties and responsibilities. Experience in a higher education institution is preferred.
