The Student Representative Committee is composed of the valedictorian of each faculty on each campus.
Eligible students must have completed at least 34% of the total credits required for graduation in their enrolled program. Members are selected based on the highest cumulative average within each faculty.
Student representatives are selected by faculty, programmatic department, and campus. Faculties comprising several departments elect one representative for the faculty as a whole, with the exception of the Faculty of Public Health and the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, which follow a different representation structure.
Faculties with more than 500 enrolled students are represented by two students. However, only the student with the highest cumulative average participates in meetings of the faculty council.
