The Office of Orientation and Admissions is looking for a self-motivated Officer who takes pride in providing exception quality of work and services to join the team.
The scope of responsibilities covers the duties related to the admission of applicants by guiding them throughout the process, assigning them to the appropriate academic units and providing them all necessary information and support in conformity with the applied policies and procedures.
This mission includes also preparing and conducting the orientation visits to schools and forums in order to introduce students to UA faculties, majors, student life and services.

As Orientation and Admissions Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Advising applicants about admissions requirements, their eligibility status, majors and programs availability in addition to other Admissions related information.
  • Managing the application process of potential students as well as the re-admission and transfer requests and follow-up on arising matters.
  • Handling and updating admissions records and files.
  • Preparing all types of admission’s reports issued after admissions period: Admitted/enrolled students, schools, regions, faculty, etc.;
  • Preparing and conducting orientation sessions at schools: provide information about the offered majors, tuition fees and student services.

Basic

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising or related field. Masters is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience directly related to the specified main duties and responsibilities. Experience in a higher education institution is highly preferred.

 

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to effectively interact with diverse population and service oriented;
  • Advanced Data manipulation and reporting is a must;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Ability to prepare and deliver presentations;
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Fluent in Arabic, English and French.

  • Write original copy and edit content for a wide range of projects, such as articles, notices, campaign content, brochures, emails, social media posts, web content, subtitles (videos), and more.

Basic

  • Bachelor degree in Translation, Journalism, Information and communication, Literature or any related field.
  • Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in copywriting and translation. Experience in a higher education institution is highly preferred.

  • Strong command in English, French, and Arabic.
  • Ability to express ideas clearly and translate them into messaging and texts.

As QA Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing mechanisms for the collection, analysis and dissemination of quality improvement data.
  • Coordinating and facilitating the collection, processing, and reporting of data that leads to the enhancement of quality improvement processes.
  • Ensuring policy and procedures alignment with accreditation standards.
  • Developing and managing the Quality Improvement System in support of Accreditation and Strategic Planning.

The Faculty of Theological Sciences and Pastoral Studies at Antonine University is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented and organized individual to join the administrative team.

 

Position Summary
Provides all administrative supports to the Faculty of Theological Sciences and Pastoral Studies (FTSPS) and maintains the compliance with academic policies, processes and procedures. Serves as primary point of operational and administrative contact with teachers, students and other stakeholders and coordinates several activities and events organized by the FTSPS (workshops, seminars, students’ activities, etc.).

 

As an Administrative Assistant, you will responsible for:

  • Providing administrative support for managing the Faculty schedule/calendar, screening and handling telephone communications, greeting and directing visitors, and dealing with administrative problems and inquiries as appropriate;
  • Serving as a primary point of direct administrative contact and liaison with other offices, individuals, and other external stakeholders;
  • Coordinating the department’s meetings, conferences, and events as requested by scheduling and coordinating dates and times, venues, attendance, agendas, and facilities; taking minutes of meeting, if demanded, and providing administrative support and follow-up on matters arising from meetings.
  • Creating and maintains administrative documentation; preparing many types of reports (statistical, grades, absences, etc.), letters, academic circulars (after General Secretariat review), memos, and other written correspondence and materials;
  • Preparing the course offering process (including classrooms reservations, etc.);
  • Scheduling and coordinating remedial sessions: circulars, SIS, evidence of absence;
  • Performing any other related duties as assigned.

 

Basic

  • BA in Management, Business Administration or related field. A Masters is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience directly related to the specified main duties and responsibilities. Experience in a higher education institution is preferred.
